With the 3.5.0 release, the internals of the Wrapper have had a major overhaul so that it is now a 100% Unicode application. This means that it is now possible to release localized versions of the Wrapper for the Standard and Professional Editions. It also makes it possible to do things like configure and property, including service names using Japanese or other characters.

New Features are:

• (Professional, Standard Edition) Fully localize the Wrapper in Japanese
• (Professional, Standard Edition) Add powerful automatic deadlock detection. The Wrapper will now log a detailed report for your engineers, and then automatically restart your application to provide a minimum of downtime.
• Added configurable filter log messages.
• (Professional Edition) Add user defined events.
• Added the ability to chain actions in response to filters, timers, and events.
• Implement a system to Pause and Resume the JVM process while leaving the Wrapper process running.
• Add a new optional check to make sure that the configured Java temp directory exists and is accessible.
• Add support for zLinux on s390 and s390x systems.
• Add a new system that makes it possible for Java applications to localize their applications using native language packs rather than jar bases resources. This has the benefit of making it easier to add or remove localizations after an application has been released.
• Add a new property to dump the entire environment to the log file along with information about where each property is set. Very useful for debugging environment related configuration issues.
• Add more checks to give users feedback about misconfigurations.
• (Professional, Standard Edition) Add new 15 minute trial license that can be used on any system for quick tests without the need to obtain a registered trial or purchase a license.
